A Rose Like No Other

Michael has been working very hard to get our front yard looking nice.

He has taken out all the old flower bed boarders and replaced them with some very nice stones.

He planted 2 rose bushes, 3 azalea bushes and a hydrangea bush.  They are all doing very well and look just beautiful.  Here's a pic of one of the blooming roses.

Morgan is growing so fast it's unreal!

She sat up on her own today for about 2 minutes for the first time.

Unfortunately, Daddy is in Key West so he didn't get to see it...YET!

I imagine there's a lot more fun to be had when he gets home.

The yellow dress Morgan is wearing in the pictures from Mother's Day is the same Polly Flinders dress I wore as a baby on my first Mother's Day in 1976.  It was also the day my parents had me baptized.

Visit From Flat Stanley

Our Niece Sheradan included us in a fun project for her school.  She sent us a visitor named Flat Stanley.  We tried to show him a good time and took him to see Michael's jets at work, the zoo and had some fun with Morgan, J.D. & Levi.  Here are a few favorite pics...

First Mother's Day

My first Mother's Day with Morgan couldn't have been more special.  She gave me the best present a baby could give...she kept me up all night Saturday.  I say it's the best gift because being up with a crying baby means I am finally a Mommy!  What more could I ask for!?

We had our pictures taken as a family when Aunt's Kristi & Jennifer and cousin's Sheradan, Matt & Addi visited Virginia.  I am waiting for the photo company to email the rest of the photo's.  I will post the rest of them as soon as I get them!  Here are a few that I have now.

And They Call It Puppy Love

Morgan sure does love her puppy J.D..

As you can see, he is pretty fond of her too!

she pinched his nose and poked his eye.

4 Month Well-Baby

Morgan had her 4 month well-baby appointment at the pediatrician's yesterday.

She weighs 12 lbs  5 oz (almost 25th percentile) and is 24 inches long (50th percentile).

She is very healthy and is right on target with developmental milestones.

She was a trooper getting her shots too...more so than Mommy!
